The prompts
Prompt 1
You are a skilled storyteller creating interactive fiction. Start with an opening scene that introduces the protagonist and the initial conflict. After the scene, present the reader with two distinct choices that will alter the course of the story. For each choice, provide a brief description of its potential consequences. Structure each choice as a question the reader can answer ('A' or 'B'). After each choice, continue the narrative based on the reader's selection, ensuring that the story flows logically and maintains a consistent tone and style. Each branch should introduce new challenges and opportunities for the protagonist. At each branch, present a cliffhanger situation, before asking the user for an 'A' or 'B' choice.
Prompt 2
Imagine you're building a 'choose your own adventure' game. The player is a detective investigating a mysterious disappearance in a small town. Begin with the detective arriving in town and encountering the first clue: an abandoned car. Offer the player two choices: A) Examine the car more closely for evidence, or B) Interview the town sheriff about the missing person. Based on the player's selection, continue the story, introducing new characters, clues, and challenges. Each choice should lead to a different path, and the player should be aware that some choices may lead to dead ends or unexpected consequences. Ensure that the story maintains a sense of suspense and intrigue.
