PushUp Pro

Privacy Policy

Effective 5 October 2026 · Applies to the PushUp Pro Android app (com.pushuppro)

Short version: PushUp Pro does not collect your personal data. The camera is used only on your phone to count push-ups, and nothing you do in the app is sent to us. There are no ads, no analytics and no accounts.

Who we are

PushUp Pro is made by DevAsh. If you have a question about this policy, contact us at hello@devash.pro.

Camera

The app uses your front camera to detect your body position and count push-ups. Every camera frame is analysed on your phone by an on-device model and then discarded. We do not record, store or upload video or images.

In multiplayer, the camera is also used to scan the host's QR code. The QR code only contains connection details for that match.

Data stored on your phone

The following stays on your device and is never sent to us:

Uninstalling the app or clearing its data in Android settings deletes all of it.

Local multiplayer

Multiplayer works between phones that are near each other. Phones connect over the same Wi-Fi network or over a temporary hotspot created by the host's phone. No internet server is involved.

During a match, phones exchange only what the match needs: your display name, your rep count, and match status. This goes directly to the other players' phones in the match.

Android asks for Wi-Fi access to create and join these connections. On Android 12 and older this permission is called Location. The app does not read, store or share your location.

World leaderboards (optional)

If you choose to sign in with Google Play Games, the app submits your best single set, total push-ups and multiplayer wins to Google Play Games leaderboards. Your Play Games profile name and scores are then visible to other players. This is handled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy. You can stop sharing at any time by signing out of Play Games or not signing in.

What we do not do

Children

PushUp Pro is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If the app starts handling data differently, we will update this page and change the effective date above.
